The Pilea Peperomioides is known for its sweet little circular shaped leaves. This plant self propagates by producing little babies which pop up from the soil surrounding the mother.

Light: Bright direct to indirect light is ideal for Pilea

Water: Water every 1–2 weeks, ensuring that the soil is not overwatered (allow it to dry out almost completely prior to next watering)
Pet: Alas, this plant is pet friendly
Fertilization: Apply a complete fertilizer (equal parts nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus) to this plant in the spring and summer which are its more active growth periods. Apply a diluted, liquid fertilizer once a month or every two months if it is a slow releasing fertilizer
Size: 4" pot with a 5" plant

Family: Urticaceae
